I am an aspiring filmmaker who is interested in Cinematography, Writing, Directing, Editing and creative use of archival footage. In the future I want to make films like Tetsuo: Iron Man.

Bachelor of Screen Arts

I worked as the Cinematographer for one short film and 1st AD (Assistant Director) / 1st AC (Assistant Cameraman) for another two. Having the role of cinematographer gave me enough artistic freedom whereas the other projects satisfied the more technical and group-centric learnings. I especially enjoyed working on Dualism as the cinematographer because of the experimental and free feel that was properly navigated by specific and definitive limitations imposed by the director. This really challenged me and brought me closer to becoming a professional cinematographer. I additionally acted as an audio editor for 20 years Buried.

Stuck In A Hard Place is a live-action, coming-of-age drama following the tumultuous relationship between father and son. Two men find themselves alone together on a hike in the idyllic New Zealand bush, and the cracks in their relationship start to show. When their trip takes an unexpected turn for the worst, the son realizes he must resolve their conflict or risk losing his father forever.

Wizard Mischief is an absurdist, neo-gothic short film about wizards, imps and fairies. It follows Lucy, a cruel and impulsive wizard, as she is followed by mischievous imps and culminates with a confrontation with the Fairy Queen over the grave of her mother.

二元論 - “Dualism”
Dualism is a bold experience that shows truly what we can achieve with a simple question… What would happen if constructivism and Surrealism met? Two stark and opposite concepts that are yet intertwined with one another. It follows the ordinary life of someone stuck in the Flat but parallel landscape, to be tempted with the surreal release and freedom that follows, however, does freedom come without a cost?
