I worked as the editor on Flat Rat and I assisted with VFX on Got The Spirit. These roles allowed me to progress my skills in a broad range of aspects associated with editing. From colour grading to compositing, my confidence and knowledge within my own editing style has grown a lot. Working on these projects has encouraged me to continue along my chosen career pathway as a video editor.
Based on a true story, Flat Rat is a 11min dark comedy about three flatmates who have their bond tested when they’re pressured into killing a rat. This film tells a silly and grim story about friendship, social responsibility, and growing up. Through the laughs, we want to make you squirm, provide a sense of perspective, and remind everybody to find joy in the rat’s nest.
