Sophie Bonis

My role as Head of Sound for 'In her Steps' involved being the sound recordist and mixer. This project meant that while I was in charge of my own space, I also interacted with different departments to get the best outcome. It’s been rewarding to produce such an intricate film. Being a part of this project has taught me new technical skills that I can't wait to utilise into future projects.

'In Her Steps' conveys a relationship where both parties grow with each other, but one that isn't overly saturated on-screen. Our story strives to be authentic, personal, and able to connect with everyone. This isn't just about mothers and daughters, it's everyone who has a meaningful relationship in their life that encourages growth. We want to highlight the simple things that are often overlooked.
