As the Art Director and Gaffer on Next of Kin, I was responsible for many of the visual aspects. I controlled the lighting set ups and what the actors wore for each scene as well as dressing the set to fit our story. Through my two departments, I was able to develop my technical skills as well as my creative leadership skills that will help me in future projects.

Next of Kin follows Ellie’s return to her childhood home, hoping to mend the rift woven into her life since her father's worsening illness. Swarmed by unhealed memories and brewing tension with her sister Jamie, Ellie is engulfed in a paralysing grip of apprehension, fearing the inevitable farewell. She must find the strength for a meaningful farewell before it’s too late.
