This year, I feel very grateful to have worked on two amazing major projects where I had the opportunity to be First Assistant Director/Co-Producer on ‘Still Blue’ and Second Assistant Director on ‘Stuck In A Hard Place’. This whole process has further fueled my love for filmmaking and being on set as I was able to explore and further hone my skills in a supportive and creative environment.

'Still Blue' tells the story of an attentive middle-aged man, William Daihbis, visiting his Mother in an elderly care Dementia unit over the course of her final year of life. The film explores the challenges that a disease like Alzheimer's has on what was once a tight-knit family of two and denotes the themes of whether or not it's worth the hardship/stress that it takes to continue the relationship.

Stuck in a Hard Place is a live-action, coming-of-age drama following the tumultuous relationship between father and son. Two men find themselves alone together on a hike in the idyllic New Zealand bush, and the cracks in their relationship start to show. When their trip takes an unexpected turn for the worst, the son realises he must resolve their conflict or risk losing his father forever.
