As writer, director, and co-producer of Flat Rat I was privileged to lead our talented team in bringing this silly, but true story to screen. I strive to make fun films with an honest emotional core and I’ve scratched that itch. It’s been a fantastic journey and I’m so proud of this project and all the wonderful people involved. I hope it gives you a chuckle!
Based on a true story, Flat Rat is a 11min dark comedy about three flatmates who have their bond tested when they’re pressured into killing a rat. This film tells a silly and grim story about friendship, social responsibility, and growing up. Through the laughs, we want to make you squirm, provide a sense of perspective, and remind everybody to find joy in the rat’s nest.
