I worked in a variety of camera and lighting roles on five different short film projects. I was the Camera Operator for Flat Rat, and various Assistant Camera roles for the other four.
My key responsibilities on Flat Rat included setting up the RED camera and image settings, ensuring the camera was framed up and moving with precision, and ensuring the footage was exposed correctly and suitable for my editor/colourist. Although being a professional Cam Op is a long-term goal, I have gained a lot of experience for when I get there and for when I'm working my way up in Cam Assist positions.
