For this project I wanted to further refine my skills all around as a 3D artist in different fields, I modeled and textured the majority of the props in the short film as well as animated the autonomy scenes. The project is meant to be ambiguous and behind the scenes we emphasized that we as visual effects artist were working on art that we wanted to be visually striking instead of emotionally captivating.

‘Rigor Mortis’ is a 3D rendered short film that showcases a dark and empty world that captures the last moments of a dying life. The work has been entirely crafted within Houdini, Maya and Blender and utilizes motion capture to enhance the work. The score has been created specifically for the work and aids in its ambiguous nature leaving a lot up to audience interpretation.
