Handtalk aims to educate and engage students in learning New Zealand Sign Language. Recognising the gap in the education system, we have developed an app that offers abundant resources for students aged 10–13. For this project, I focused on Figma functions, camera prototyping and stylisation. Handtalk features a dictionary and interactive units that students can complete. It also sparks excitement for students as they track their progress through mission stamps and keep an eye on their classmates’ achievements as well! Learning NZSL just got a whole lot more fun!
