Look a Little Closer is designed to distinguish the gap between seeing and looking. It acts as an entrance point to the visual world of detail within Aotearoa’s native plant life that whilst celebrated may often go unnoticed. This project is not only an insight into the finite details of kawakawa, but a celebration of the plant as a whole. A love letter to the beloved pepper tree.
