The fragility of memory is explored in my work through my attempts to visually and audibly reconstruct my parents' memories. My collection memorialises everyday experiences by manipulating free-sourced photography through the textile processes of sublimation printing, weaving, knitting, crochet and pleating. The textile and digital manipulation of free-sourced photographs speaks to how our comprehension of others' memories is always a warped reconstruction intrinsically shaped by our own individual lived experiences.
