Pieces of Portals investigates how placemaking strategies and scenographic practices can work together to create experiences for people, helping them feel more connected to place. Utilising the ‘10 Places, 10 Activities’ placemaking strategy of ‘Project for Public Spaces’ and Poems of Wellington as a framework, 10 scenographic interventions are proposed throughout Wellington city. These interventions combine light, material and sound to create a new experience of the site and poem.
