With the Pacific Islands facing imminent submersion by Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa, Pacific peoples have a rich history of adaptation to draw from. This project emerges as a beacon of cultural preservation and resilience, with a mission to protect the interconnected space of the ‘vā’. Harnessing the potential of virtual space while staying rooted in cultural identity and experience, elements of practice, knowledge, and material culture are preserved across dimensions of time and space.
