Attune offers a moment of retreat within the urban environment. The Wellington architectural icon, the Oriental Bay Band Rotunda is renovated into a series of sauna and bathing experiences. Whilst considering provenance through a contemporary and compassionate lens, this adaptive re-use project responds to the concept of retreat in urban space. It explores an opportunity for stability and connection through observing notions of spiritual and integrated spaces.
