Human settlement and urban expansion in Wellington City have led to a decline in native species and their natural habitats. Beyond the Fence is a speculative masterplan that proposes a systematic series of urban interventions to regenerate neglected sites into native stepping-stones, creating migration pathways out from Te Māra a Tāne Zealandia Reserve. Envision a harmonious co-existence, where endangered species thrive within revitalised habitats dispersed throughout the urban topography.
