Three proposed green spaces activate the edges of Wellington’s Te Ngākau Civic Square. Nestle and read outside the Library. Socialise and perform in front of City Gallery. By the renovated Town Hall, sit and listen to the sound of water and birds. The designs are informed by biomimicry and the ways in which human behaviour might mirror that of the birds who once bathed at this site, and who may return to the new groves of native trees.
