To Walk Beside Yourself explores a reconnection to past place, whilst manifolding into themes of detachment and attaching loaded personal histories to notions of place. Present is an air of wonder, depicted through poetic imagery and installation methods befitting of the complication to find an access point to the past. Returning to the Ruapehu region was like blowing the dust from the attic of my mind, overturning histories for new ones to begin.
