but where are you from? is a photographic project engaging with the Pacific Island community within Porirua East. The project aims to document my point of view of the community in its current climate. It has been created to be reflected on by future generations, to consider the aspirations of a community that has been historically documented by its deficits and to begin a reclamation of personal narrative.
