Bachelor of Design with Honours
araw-araw nahihirapan akong huminga is a personal investigation of self-identity. Growing up with a lot of restrictions in a conservative Catholic Filipino family, affected how I view myself. This project’s core element involves multi-channel videos that straddle the boundary between performance and reality. It is a visual diary that gives an intimate insight into my thoughts and feelings. At the heart of it are recurring reflections created while navigating my narrative as a non-binary Filipino immigrant.
