“A Subtle Thief of Youth” investigates the complexities of growing up on the isolated West Australian south coast. Returning to my hometown of Bunbury, I encountered a new generation of youth and considered what future pathways they would take. I also contemplated my own experience growing up in this locale and the pathway I had taken – what would my future have looked like if I had chosen to stay?
