Master of Fine Arts
This project uses performative video works, exploring a performer and her spatial navigation whilst wearing a two-metre long breast piece. Intimate moments are captured that subvert themes surrounding the sexualisation and objectification of the female body. A feminine gaze frames the video work’s view of a grotesque and unfamiliar form wrapping and twisting itself in a mode of play.
