A user experience walk through showcasing how Sonic Sculpture is used to produce a composition.
Sonic Sculpture utilising unique form and function to enhance the creativity of musicians
The form blends the line between music gear and sculpture achieved by the familiar musical keys being encased within the unique design of the frame.
Sonic Sculpture is designed for a home studio. In this space it acts as both a piece of art and a functional device.

Bachelor of Design with Honours

Sonic Sculpture is a contemporary instrument for music producers that fosters inspiration through satisfying tactile interactions. The device blends the line between music equipment and sculpture creating a product that is inviting, playful and fun.

Sonic sculpture functions via a pendulum that pushes adjustable balls creating unpredictable sounds. This combined with interchangeable notes and pitch shifting functionality allows the user to overcome the intimidating step of the “blank canvas” when producing music.
