Bachelor of Design with Honours
My project focussed on utilising local waste streams to create an outdoor chair that caters for upcycling and repairability. Through physical modelling, CAD design and soft material experimentation, I was able to repurpose fishing net waste into a tensile structure that provides flexibility and comfort to the sitter. The forward potential involves transforming this concept into a mono-material chair through additive manufacturing.
