Through my massive love for the fighting game genre, I was able to passionately push Work Strike as far as I could. I studied the animation, game design, and conventions of fighting games like Guilty Gear and Street Fighter. Working on the project massively upskilled my abilities in animation and game design. Thanks to its warm receptionist, my passion to push on in game development is stronger than ever.
Work Strike is a 2D-Fighting Game set in an infinitely ascending, eldritch skyscraper. You play as the workers and denizens of the tower, each trying to survive in their own ways. Work Strike strikes the balance of traditional fighting games while being more approachable for new players. Each character has a unique skill set with depth. But the bar for entry is lower thanks to Work Strike’s simple inputs system.
