Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours
In Scenes of Contemporary Living 2023, I return to the ideas of one of my earliest, unresolved series and seek to find that resolution in new works, extending the ideas beyond the scope of the initial series. Through the extensive sampling of everyday sounds and the manipulation of them through various means, I explore the ways in which trauma impacts survivors ways of existing in the world, with everything around us is reshaped into something hostile and alien.
