Juverna Flood

The visceral nature of inhabiting a body, specifically its transformative and impermanent states, are depicted simultaneously through Juverna Flood’s approach to creating sculptural work. She shows an interest in the textural qualities of the body and the materials it excretes - what sheds, peels and leaks. Using material exploration, Flood evokes and exaggerates these sometimes overlooked physical aspects within static forms.
