Through this body of work I guide myself through Dante’s Inferno. Acting as both guide and pilgrim I remake my body in each circle of hell, one painting at a time. In these remakings, I approach my body in conversation with where I have been, and where I am going. This project was born of an attempt at treating my trans identity with worship, a kind of religious hedonism.
