My work explores the interplay of memory, translation, and authenticity by revealing the wider associations inherent in objects. Through the manipulation of found materials, pre-existing histories can disperse into a broader exploration of personal and collective desires.
I use familiar motifs as the subjects of my sculptures and images, often repeating forms to interrogate how experiences can be produced. In doing so, I try to distance myself from the work to let the material speak for itself.
