Amber’s practice is centred around material exploration. She uses this as a tool to unfold and understand contemporary urban surfaces, revealing vacillating relationships between body and space. Amber studies tensions of horizontal and vertical planes; observing how these surfaces become screens that imbue and conceal, existing between spaces. She makes work with both found and constructed materials to reflect the multitudes within urban expanses.
