‘My Modern Man’ is a collection designed to reflect the shifting definition of masculinity in fashion and culture through the 21st century. Hegemonic masculinity is pivoting from traditional notions of stoic and violent masculinity, towards contemporary ideas of communicating emotion, and expressing femininities. I have created fashion that allows men to express their innate femininity while maintaining a comfortable degree of healthy masculinity.
