Bachelor of Design with Honours
In a world marked by constant change and uncertainty, I aim to provide solace through artistic expression. My collection is an escapist fantasy, employing surrealism to construct a Utopian society. Inspired by Surrealist and Dada art, as well as Freud's exploration of dreams and suppressed desires, I incorporated surreal elements into my designs by focusing on an everyday object. Techniques like moulage and trapunto quilting were instrumental in this process.
