The Event: Cyclone Gabrielle is a short documentary that recalls Eskdale resident Jason's firsthand experience with Cyclone Gabrielle. Through Jason’s compelling account, this film offers a unique and personal perspective on the disaster that rocked the nation. This project allowed me to work within a new genre of documentary and creatively lead through all phases of production, exploring all technical and creative aspects of factual filmmaking.
