“Leaving Home” is a documentary pilot for a series about young people in Aotearoa who have recently left the nest for the first time. As the leader of this project, I took on many roles, including director, producer, director of photography, and editor. Working on this project was a valuable learning experience and has inspired me to further explore documentary filmmaking in the future.
